Meet our Reveal Artists 2020

After an extensive recruitment campaign Prime Cut Productions is delighted to announce that the new cohort of Reveal Artists for Reveal 2020 are:

Dominic Montague: Reveal Artist
Natalie Murphy: Associate Producer
Michael Patrick & Oisin Kearney: Reveal Playwriting Commission
Katie Richardson: Reveal Artist

There was huge interest in Reveal and we received over 60 requests for application packs and 10 times as many applications as there are places to fill. The quality of the applications was second to none and it made our job in selecting to the final four roles, extremely difficult. It’s a testament to the creativity and tenacity of Northern Ireland’s independent artists and while we are delighted to be able to support and work with our artists through Reveal, there is an urgent need for greater funding for the arts here, especially for independent artists to bring us in line with the rest of the UK and Island of Ireland.

Since 2014, with investment from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and latterly Jerwood Arts, we have made and co-produced work with 8 Reveal Artists that have led to 3 internationally touring award-winning shows, a further 4 showcasing at Dublin and Edinburgh Fringe as well as Island of Ireland Tours, ongoing career development for many more and two major industry events. We hope to continue in this vein over the next two years and are very much looking forward to the adventure ahead.
