Ensemble is a project that saw us running workshops across Belfast, working with a range of organisations, exploring their views and opinions of their own Communities, and Belfast as a whole. The aim of Ensemble was to create new connections, providing an opportunity for us to engage in new groups, and we are hoping that we will be able to extend this project later in the year, working with people who we have worked with on Ensemble as well as participants from previous projects.
As well as community groups we have also met with service providers to discover the work that they are doing, the groups that they are accessing and the work that we are doing, and how we can collaborate so as to make the work that we are doing more impactful.
To date we have worked with the following groups:- The Indian Community Centre, Tiger's Bay Men's Group, Sailortown Regeneration, the Harbour Lights, East Belfast Mission, Shankill Senior Citizen's Forum, Include Youth, Harmony Court, St. John Vianney Senior Citizens and St. John Vianney Youth Group. Participants have talked about what community means to them, about the area that they live in, the neighbouring communities that they live alongside and their hopes for the future.
